Concrete is coming
we're getting closer. The formwork is coming on and lounge slab is now ready, although you wouldn't guess from this photo, for concrete tomorrow.

It's taking shape
The lounge slab is excavated and weather permitting will be cast on Saturday
Formworks going in ready for the basaement lid to be cast early next weekAll of this has been good news and great progress, but todays other activity has been unblocking next doors drains.
That's right, next doors foul drain was weeping into our site, that puddle is not rainwater, I know because I've smelt it and then lifted 4 of nextdoors manhole covers to find the blockage.
It wasn't the best morning I've had.
