It's been a busy few days. Look below and you'll see.
Final roof day and the final crane. You could see this one for miles.
more panels for the roof and just when you're not looking . . . .
the final panel goes up. RUN!!!!!!!
And it's bye bye crane
(Alex took this one, hence the dreamy soft focus for the crane)
And that's a roof, and the house. It'll get no bigger than this (well maybe a little, but not much)
with the main roof complete it's on with the flat roof
and the bedroom partitions.
Now we have the shell we need to clad it. Here's all the black stained Siberian Larch for the walls and roof
I love it.
An Alex sized door. No it's not a mistake, just the access hatch to the water tank room in the attic
This will be a fantasti bookcase one day. honest.
I really don't like or trust scaffolders. Tell me how do I fit my roof now?
but our bricklayer is doing a really good job. He's onto the final lift on the North elevation.
